It would be immodest of us to sing the praises of San Cristoforo - so we’ve let our guests do it for us.

I hereby declare that I, K.T., saw a tiny hummingbird flitting around
the flower planters in front of La Casetta. Although Peter will have you believe it was a huge freakish moth with a nose like Pinocchio. But, I
ask you, is that a properly poetic event? I think not, and shall choose to remember, well into my dotage many years hence, a humming bird. Other memorable moments:
- shooting stars on our first night here
- cows lowing in the distance as dusk fell
- the noise of grasses hitting the car undercarriage as we drove down the driveway
- the acrobatic birds
